Team Members
Alice Ann received a B.S. in psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She received her MA and completed her doctoral work in
Developmental Psychology at the University of Connecticut. She is interested in the effect of input, from mothers and media, on children's social-cognitive development (specifically their theory of mind development).
Alexis
Lauricella is a PhD Candidate in the Human Development and Public
Policy track of the Psychology department at Georgetown University.
She developed an interest in developmental psychology and
media through her undergraduate work at the University of Massachusetts,
Amherst and her experience at Sesame Workshop.
Amanda is a third-year student in the Human Development and Public
Policy concentration of the Psychology PhD. Her main research focus
is the effects of exergames (i.e. video games that require gross
motor activity) on adolescents' physical, cognitive, and social
health. She previously conducted obesity-related research at the
Pennington Biomedical Research Center. Amanda graduated from Georgetown
Public Policy Institute, receiving her master of public policy,
and she graduated magna cum laude from Louisiana State University,
receiving a BS in Psychology and minors in Nutritional Science and
Sociology.
Marta is a Senior in Georgetown College pursuing a Psychology major
and Biology minor with a Pre-Medical program. Her research interests
include childhood development and fitness and health. She is excited
to be working with these issues in the CDMC lab.
Alex is a Junior in Georgetown College, majoring in Psychology
and Linguistics. His research interests are primarily children's
interaction with technology and early childhood development.
Monica is a Sophomore in Georgetown College, pursuing a double
major in Psychology and English. She is particularly interested
in clinical psychology and psychopathology, as well as childhood
development. She is very excited to be a member of the CDMC team.
