University is always looking for motivated graduate and undergraduate
students to help coordinate and conduct research. Our lab attracts
enthusiastic, intelligent students of diverse backgrounds who want
to join us in the investigation of how media affects learning. Although
prior experience in a research lab is not required, we do expect
all research assistants to be hard-working, committed to the lab,
and have a background or interest in children’s media.
Graduate Research Assistants
The Children’s Digital Media Center at Georgetown

Graduate RAs are responsible for coordinating and conducting

projects. Duties include but are not limited to data
entry and analysis, measure and survey construction,
data collection, school recruitment, and writing.
Desired skills include experience in a research lab,
working with SPSS, and media design skills. If interested,
please contact us.
We are also looking for students with programming
skills including database design, Cold Fusion, Flash and HTML.
Undergraduate Research Assistants
Undergraduate research assistants are recruited primarily from courses
taught by Professor Calvert in the Department of Psychology. The
